Meet in the main parking lot by Hooks Creek Lake<\/strong>, near the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT NOTES: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • GPS navigation can be difficult in the park<\/strong>, and may take you up an incorrect road<\/strong> (e.g. a road signed for campers only) or tell you that you’ve arrived when you haven’t. Please follow signs for Hooks Lake<\/strong> or Hooks Creek Lake<\/strong><\/span>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • This is a change from our original meeting place – we no longer meet in the small parking lot near the park entrance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Directions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Garden State Parkway:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Take exit 120.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Follow the brown signs to the park (three right turns).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      From Rte 33 west:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Pick up Hwy 79 north<\/strong> to Hwy 34 north<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • At Morristown Road<\/strong> turn right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • At the next light the road bends right, but go straight onto Gordon Road.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Follow Gordon Road to the park entrance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Once in the park:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Go past<\/strong> the small parking lot on your left, and turn left<\/span> at the T-junction<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Follow State Park Road about 0.5 mile to the main parking lot by the lake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
